Bookd — SaaS Booking Platform
The situation
Bookd is Studio 72's booking platform for service businesses, starting with UK dog groomers. The starting point was bookings handled through WhatsApp, phone calls, direct messages and paper diaries. The build brought customer booking and the groomer's working diary into one product.
The challenge was not just building "booking software". It was building a system that matched how independent groomers actually work.
What was built
Studio 72 designed and built Bookd as a complete SaaS platform with online booking, automated reminders, payment handling and client management.
The build includes customer booking screens, a groomer dashboard and an automated test suite.
What it does now
The product includes customer-facing booking flows, appointment approval and management, automated SMS and email reminders, client and pet records, Stripe payment processing, and operational workflows built around real grooming use cases.
Bookd is live at getbookd.io. It is one of Studio 72's own products, with paying customers.
