A form needs somewhere to send its answers. A booking needs a place in the diary. A payment needs to reach the system that records it. That is the development work: connecting the page your customer uses to the tools your business runs on. We build those connections, the logic behind them and the parts of the site you need to update. Page speed matters here too, particularly on a phone. The brief starts with what the site needs to do, what information it handles and which existing systems it has to work with. Those requirements determine the build.
We write our own software, including Bookd, our booking platform. Its diaries, deposits and reminders are things we have built and operate ourselves. That matters when the work on your website goes beyond putting content on a page: the people connecting the booking flow also understand the system behind it. Bookd is our own booking platform. We built its customer booking flows, diary, deposits and automated reminders, and we run it ourselves.

For Pontypridd Golf Club, we built a website with course-status updates the clubhouse team controls from a phone and enquiry forms connected to its inbox.

What people ask before a build.
What is the difference between web design and web development?
Design covers what a visitor sees. Development covers what happens when they use it: where a form sends information, how a booking reaches a diary and how a payment is handled. At Studio 72, we build those working parts and look after the site afterwards.
Can you add booking or payments to my website?
We build booking and payment connections, including the diaries, deposits and reminders in our own Bookd platform. The starting point is what your site needs to do and which systems it already uses. If the job is a whole product rather than a website feature, see our software and internal systems.
What happens if I want to leave?
We hand over your content and point your domain wherever you choose. Tell us at the scoping stage if you also need source code or a particular integration transferred. Those details need to be addressed in the proposal before the work starts.
How long does a custom website build take?
It depends on what needs building and what it connects to. A site with booking, payments or custom features needs its own plan. We discuss the work on the call and set out the proposed sequence in writing. There is no single turnaround time for every build.
Can you work with my existing website?
Start by showing us the site and explaining what it needs to do. We look at what is there before scoping the work. We rebuild existing sites, and the systems your business already uses form part of that discussion. Work on the existing code needs a separate assessment.
Can we meet in Cardiff?
